Market Volatility Alert — Middle East Conflict Escalation

Following the coordinated military strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran beginning Friday, 28 February 2026, and Iran’s retaliatory actions — including threats to close the Strait of Hormuz — we expect significant volatility at the Monday market open on 2 March 2026. 

Products likely to be affected include crude oil, precious metals (XAUUSD, XAGUSD), major equity indices, and USD and safe-haven currency pairs. You may experience wider spreads, price gaps, reduced liquidity, and rapid price swings during this period. 

We strongly advise all traders to review open positions, ensure sufficient margin is maintained, and exercise heightened caution when trading.
